SARGASSO:C CONCERT SERIES CONTINUES...

As part of its 10th year anniversary celebrations Sargasso continues its series of concerts at London's Salon des Arts. Sargasso:C events will take place every 2 months.

Thursday September 23rd March 2006 at 7:30pm

Our July event happened to coincide with the 2nd (failed) London bombings. The effect on audience attendence was noticeable but the evening was a success nevertheless. We hope this time the terrorists will stay at home and allow you to come and enjoy the show.

The programme will include:
- Special guest: from Paris virtuoso vocalist Claudia Solal (pictured). Daughter of French jazz piano legend Martial Solal, Claudia has developed unique extended vocal techniques which defy the audible. Amongst other works she will be presenting her interpretation of texts by Emily Dickinson. This is her first UK performance!!
- World-acclaimed Gareth Davis is one of today's great contemporary clarinettists. This is an unmissable opportunity to witness his creative talent.
- Collective improvised works by Daniel Biro (electric piano/synthesizers) and sound-sculptor Paul Chauncy (laptop/synthesizers) together with the above-mentioned special guests.
- Other surprises...

So lend us your ears and join us for a drink on:
